Tabriz Tepper: Tabriz is a large Persian city near the Turkish border. It is located on the legendary Silk Road and was once considered the gateway to the Orient. It is especially famous for the Tabriz Mahi, which has a very high knot density. Persian Tepper: Persian rugs are world famous for their quality and beauty. Genuine Persian rugs are hand knotted and the wool is dyed with natural vegetable dye. Characteristic for Persian rugs are also the elaborate patterns in floral and geometric shapes. The most famous provenances in which rugs are knotted are Nain, Sarough, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan, Bidjar and Ghom.
Virgin wool pile: A rug made of real virgin wool makes any interior style more cozy. The virgin wool itself has a very pleasant soft feel and also helps to dampen the sound and regulate the humidity in the room. Silk chain: The warp is the base fabric on which the pile is knotted. The finer the warp, the sharper the pattern of the rug at the end.
